Food on our Treks

 

The food on our treks will blow your mind! The quality is unparalleled and as for quantity, you will definitely have all you can eat! We also include Peruvian specialties to give you a true culinary immersive experience. All our ingredients are local and fresh. We are able to accommodate any and all dietary restrictions (vegetarian, gluten free, kosher, allergies, etc.)

The day always starts with a hearty and nutritionally balanced breakfast, which sets us up to be at our best for the days trek. Examples of breakfast foods are eggs, omelettes, oatmeal, cold cereal, granola, pancakes, juice and much more.

Lunch and Dinner always have four courses. These are starter, soup, main course and desert. Here are some examples of these courses:

Starter – Stuffed avocado, Quiche, Ceviche

Soup – Pumpkin cream, Quinoa soup, Wheat soup

Main course – Lomo Saltado, Aji de Gallina, Fresh Trout

Desert – Cake, Fried bananas, Cheesecake

Our chefs go through an extensive training program. They go to culinary school and then work as an assistant chef for approximately 1 year before being elevated to the position of chef.

Our food will be one of the highlights of your trek. Our incredible chefs will be delighted to share their culinary talents with you.

However, it is worth a look at the dictionary to understand what makes the word Action in our name special. ACTION: Doing things that require physical movement and energy; something done so as to accomplish a purpose; involved in the activities of a group and organization.
